Dr. Samuel Hetz

Dr. Hetz has personally performed thousands of cosmetic injectables treatments since 2013. He sits on the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine (CAAM) Board of Directors and is regularly called on as a medicolegal expert in the field of medical aesthetics for national law firms, the Canadian Medical Protective Association, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

Following residency, he received the highest mark on his licensing exam at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Hetz currently holds an academic appointment with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa where he teaches fellow physicians and residents. In addition, he is one of a handful of Family Physicians in Ottawa with a GP Focused Practice Designation in Dermatology awarded by the Ontario Medical Association and the Ministry of Health.

In 2021 and 2022, Concept Medical won the Consumer Choice Award in two separate categories. Dr. Hetz is the recipient of numerous nationally recognized academic and leadership awards, has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, and regularly presents at national conferences.  Most recently, Dr. Hetz was named one of the Forty Under 40 recipients by the Ottawa Business Journal and Ottawa Board of Trade.
